Other people borrow against your deposit. The interest they pay flows back to you, accruing in real time.

Withdraw whenever

No lock-up. You can pull your tokens (plus accrued interest) any time the pool has free liquidity.

Smart-contract risk: If the lending contract has a bug, deposits could be drained. Audits help, but don't eliminate the risk.
Bad-debt risk: If a borrower's collateral falls fast and can't be liquidated in time, the protocol may eat the loss — and pass it to depositors.
